Apodado como «El Troglodita» debido a sus salvajes interpretaciones, Enrique Tellería (conocido como Jean Paul) fue uno de los cantantes peruanos más populares desde finales de los sesenta hasta mediados de los setenta. «Vudú», grabado en 1972 para Discos MAG, es su segundo álbum y cuenta con los magníficos Laghonia como grupo de acompañamiento. Su música, los impecables arreglos de viento y la impresionante interpretación de Jean Paul hacen de este LP una espectacular mezcla de psych duro y soul/funk latino.

Nicknamed “El Troglodita” (The Caveman) due to his wild antics, Enrique Tellería aka Jean Paul was one of the most popular Peruvian singers during the late 60s and early 70s. “Vudú”, recorded in 1972 for Discos MAG, is his second album and features the amazing band Laghonia as backing musicians. Their performance, the seamless brass arrangements and Jean Paul’s impressive delivery make this LP a spectacular combination of hard psych and Latin soul/funk.
